Edinburgh University has been celebrating the publication of lecturer Murray Pittock's The Myth of the Jacobite Clans by running a competition for the most appropriate anagram of Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Winner Moya Flockhart produced "Rebel heir in panic con", while the runners up were "Nice no brain leech RIP" and "RIP bien nice clan hero". But a special mention to the positively surreal "Cheap rice on bin liner".
