Brussels, 31 May 2005
A project on mentoring European knowledge of the chemical regions will hold a conference in Brussels, Belgium, on 15 June.
The project is a collaboration between the regions of Saxony-Anhalt (Germany), Lombardia (Italy) and Asturias (Spain) and is funded under the European Commission's pilot action 'Regions of Knowledge'.
For the past 18 months, the project partners have been working together, exchanging experiences in areas such as chemical sites, the development of research competences and regional strategies on REACH.
This final conference will present the results of the project, which will then be discussed with representatives from administration, industry and science. The Technology Platform 'Sustainable Chemistry' will also be the focus of discussion.
