US president Barack Obama is to unveil plans that would see two years of community college study available free to ¡°everyone willing to work for it¡±.
In a speech to be delivered in Tennessee later today, described by Mr Obama as a ¡°preview to the State of the Union [address]¡± to be made on 20 January, the president will give further details on the proposal which he says will ¡°make sure that community college is accessible for everyone¡±.
