Procedures not bypassed

It was perhaps inevitable that a letter headed "Lecturers loathe to report on GNVQs" emanated from the secretary of a Council for Academic Freedom and Academic Standards' (sic).

I would like to reassure all concerned that the three GNVQ-awarding bodies will take very seriously indeed any suggestion that the internal verification procedures in colleges are being bypassed -- by college managers or anyone else -- and will of course support anyone who brings substantiated cases to our attention.
