St Antony's College was singled out in an article about the Graduate Student Charter (THES, March 3) as an example of a graduate college where some dissatisfaction exists regarding university supervision based on a recent student-initiated survey of 47 per cent of the college's students.

The article grossly misrepresented our college and our pioneering efforts to remedy a situation. St Antony's is setting the pace among Oxford graduate colleges in the area of university supervision and the work of the graduate studies committee serves as a model to other colleges.
