(Photograph) - Testing time: Nicholas O'Shaughnessy, an engineering lecturer at Cambridge University, finally got rid of his L-plates on his 13th driving test last week. The 40-year-old passed with honours at nearby Bury St Edmunds, having chosen to get away from the hundreds of student cyclists in Cambridge. The former Conservative parliamentary candidate can now stop driving the single-seater car he was able to use due to a loophole in the law - it was capable of 120mph.
