(Photograph) - Working out: Scottish rugby international Gavin Hastings this week reopened Glasgow University's indoor sports facilities after a 15 month, Pounds 4.5 million refurbishment. The university has launched two new sports medicine courses, a BSc which is the first of its kind in the United Kingdom, and an MSc which is a first in Scotland, both taught jointly by the institute of biomedical and life sciences and the faculty of medicine. It also plans to build up its sports research.
