Friday on my mind

March 23, 2017

Despite acknowledging the importance of contradictory examples in the study of the humanities, James Nikopoulos (Opinion, 9 March) remarks on a society¡¯s skill sets relevant to the ¡°passions of their populace¡±. Is he seriously suggesting that people at work ¨C whether unskilled, technical, social or symbol-crunching ¨C are very likely to be in love with their labours rather than quietly getting things done but very much looking forward to the weekend?
