China Subject Ratings 2021: Agriculture
The Times Higher Education China Subject Ratings are the only performance tables that judge Chinese institutions against their global peers based on the Chinese Ministry of Education¡¯s classification of subjects.
The ratings for agriculture reveal performance across nine subjects: agricultural resources and environment; animal husbandry; aquatic production and aquatic science; crop science; forestry science and forestry; grass science and turf grass science; horticulture; plant protection; and veterinary science.
In total, 552 universities worldwide receive a rating for at least one subject in the agriculture pillar.

Eight universities achieve an A+ grade in all nine of the agriculture subjects: Cornell University; Ghent University; Swedish University of Agriculture; University of California, Davis; University of Florida; University of Melbourne; University of Sydney; and Wageningen University & Research.
China Agricultural University is the top-performing institution in mainland China, achieving six A+ grades and one A grade for agriculture.
