China Subject Ratings 2024: Agriculture

The Times Higher Education China Subject Ratings are the only performance tables that judge Chinese institutions against their global peers based on the Chinese Ministry of Education¡¯s classification of subjects.

The ratings for agriculture reveal performance across nine subjects: agricultural resources and environment; animal husbandry; aquatic production and aquatic science; crop science; forestry science and forestry; grass science and turf grass science; horticulture; plant protection; and veterinary science.

In total, 706 universities worldwide receive a rating for at least one subject in the agriculture pillar.

Overall, 104 universities receive an A+ grade in at least one of the subjects and 15 receive A+ in all nine subjects.
