Al-Rafidain University College is a private Iraqi educational institution.
Al-Rafidain University College has 13 medical, engineering and scientific departments from which it awards bachelor degrees. Students can also study subjects including computer and communications, law, pathology, business management, accounting and civil engineering.
Each course takes four years to complete and the academic year consists of two semesters. Degrees are all approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and other relevant ministries.
There are numerous facilities including 12 medical labs, 25 engineering labs, 60 classrooms and 40 lecture halls. There are also plenty of opportunities for students outside of academia, including artistic, cultural and literary activities, along with annual scientific conferences and numerous sporting activities to choose from.
The university consists of three buildings. The main building is on Palestine Avenue in the Baghdad district, where you'll find the Deanship of the College and certain engineering and scientific departments including the communications engineering and computer technology engineering departments. There is a second building with further scientific departments on Banook Avenue and the building with the dental hospital is on Cairo Avenue.
