Amity University, Gwalior is part of a 20-year old education group in India and this particular campus is located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. There are nine other Amity campuses across India.
The Madhya Pradesh campus was established by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation in New Delhi with the aim to promote professional industry-oriented education in Madhya Pradesh. The university has partnerships with IBM, Oracle and Sun Microsystems, and the Amity Innovation Incubator to nurture entrepreneurship in students.
Among the business facilities on campus, the university has 50 tech labs, a sports complex and multi-cuisine cafeteria for students to enjoy.
There are seven institutes at the university including behavioural and allied sciences, biotechnology, engineering and technology, architecture and planning, business, law and communication. Across these institutes, students can choose from a wide variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses to study.
Students can join a range of sessions on business etiquette, negotiation and effective communication, as well as English diction classes to help students in job interviews. All students must take part in a seven day compulsory military training camp as part of their personal development at Amity.
Language learning is incorporated into all courses at the university and students can choose from a range of languages including French, Chinese, Japanese, German and Spanish.
