Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AUAC) has links back to 1920, when it functioned as a construction faculty. Over the years, AUAC has had many name changes but in 1992 it received university status, and in 2000 it was renamed to what it is today.

Located in Baku, Azerbaijan, AUAC specialises in civil engineering and architecture.

The university has 42 departments, including: architecture, construction and economics, civil engineering and transport. AUAC offers both bachelor and master degrees, as well as doctoral.

Working with institutions, both local and worldwide, students receive opportunities to expand their skill set and graduate ready for the professional job market.

The campus has modern equipment, teaching and research laboratories and a library. There*s a separate nine-storey dormitory building for students too.

There*s plenty of activities for students to get involved with. Clubs on offer include those with an interest in dance, singing, chess and debate. Students can get involved with wrestling, judo, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, football and athletics. AUAC holds bi-annual sports championships every year.

Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction has partnerships with various universities from different countries, including Anglia Ruskin University, in the United Kingdom, and the University of Montpellier in France. Teaching is conducted in three languages: Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
