You will be an excellent writer, with expertise in creating compelling proposals and funding applications, as well as personalised stewardship communications. With a desire to enable interesting opportunities to connect with, cultivate and steward your donors, you will be tenacious and creative in attracting new fundraising leads, ensuring ongoing philanthropic support for the University.

The newly launched School is the largest in the University, building on the University's rich heritage and the legacy of the leading Schools of Economics and Finance and Management, whose merger created it. The successful candidate will be a Strategy scholar with an international research reputation who can contribute to the School's world-leading and interdisciplinary research agenda, addressing themes such as sustainability, innovation and leadership in a complex geopolitical landscape. They will be successful in publishing research, attracting research funding or other financial support and promoting knowledge exchange to strengthen the School's reputation for academic excellence. They must also be an excellent teacher, capable of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students from diverse backgrounds. The successful candidate will also actively engage in purposeful partnerships with academic, public, private and third-sector organisations to drive impactful research and enhance the student experience. An understanding of scenario planning and futures thinking is desirable but not essential.

Candidates will hold a PhD in a cognate discipline. The School of Natural Sciences is looking to appoint a Level A (Associate Lecturer) Teaching and Research Academic in the field of Evolutionary and Developmental Biology. This is a 4-year fixed-term position (replacing staff on secondment) aimed at growing and strengthening research in these fields.

Key strengths of the School of Natural Sciences include access to a world class wildlife research facility, allowing for the use of Australian wildlife models for investigating key questions in evolutionary and developmental biology, as well as world class multi-omics, molecular biology, and tissue culture facilities in modern purpose-built research laboratories.

The successful applicant will also help to train the next generation of biological and biomedical scientists through undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision, with ample opportunities to build their career as a balanced academic. The School is particularly interested in researchers with a capacity for and interest in teaching into the field of evolutionary medicine. Courses relevant to this position include the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Medical Science.

	A PhD in Evolutionary Biology or a closely related discipline in the biological sciences

Postdoctoral Researcher

Masaryk University, Faculty of Economics and Administration, is looking for a?highly motivated and productive Postdoctoral Researcher on the following fields: business management with an emphasis on human resource management, strategic management, sustainable business management, or business information technology management. We are offering a?full-time early career position with a?3-year contract.

The position is designed to allow the candidate to work in one of three established teams corresponding to the candidate’s background and research focus. The main agenda will be publishing papers?in international top journals within the field, attracting external research funding, and developing international research cooperation. Limited participation in teaching (both lecturing and tutoring in English) is also a?part of the job.

We are looking for a?candidate:


	In the early career stage after the Ph.D. graduation,
	with a?Ph.D. degree (or expected to get the degree by June 2025) in business management, business administration, human resource management, economics, finance, psychology, or a?related field from a?respected ranked university,
	with research interest in?strategic management, sustainable business management, business technology management, or human resource management, which is evident from the candidate's?previous research and other activities,
	with excellent background in statistics and quantitative research methods relevant to the field,
	potential to publish in leading international scientific journals,
	able to discuss, write, and teach in English (at least C1 level),
	ready to start the job in February 2025 or in September 2025.


What does the position entail?


	Planning and conducting research studies, writing research manuscripts,
	active collaboration with other department members on research and teaching,
	publishing research papers in leading international journals,
	submission of grant proposals,
	international research and project collaboration,
	participation in teaching bachelor and master courses for 2 -?4 hours a?week, 24 weeks per year,
	supervision of student theses,
	popularization of own research agenda to the public.
