Buriram Rajabhat University is in the Buriram province in Thailand.
The university was originally launched as Buriram Teachers¡¯ College, in direct response to the need for a large number of qualified teachers in the country. First founded in 1971, over the years it gradually added to its curriculum, starting with two-year degree courses and then moving on to four-year courses. In 1995 the Teacher College Act was replaced by Rajabhat Institute Act and with it, the name was changed to Buriram Rajabhat University.
Today there are seven faculties including the education, humanities and social sciences, management sciences, science, agricultural technology, industrial technology and nursing. Along with undergraduate degrees, there is a graduate school with programs in educational administration, curriculum and learning management, English, public administration and political economics and governance. There are also two doctoral degrees offer too: philosophy in educational administration and philosophy in leadership for professional development.
There are also a range of facilities onsite including a student dormitory, hotel, sports science centre and stadium, language institute and a cultural centre, library, bank, health centre, cafeterias and computer labs.
