Established in 1898, DePaul University is the largest Catholic higher level institution in the US. The private university is one of the best in the country for its game design programme, film and drama school.
Indeed, there are several majors you can take to benefit from these three focuses: acting, performing arts, theatre arts, animation, costume design, game design, graphic design, playwriting, sound design. Students can also choose to specialise in allied health technologies, Arabic, Catholic studies, cybersecurity, geography, history of art, hospitality leadership, Japanese studies, management, marketing, mathematics and computer science, music, neuroscience, performing arts management or world language education. Altogether, DePaul offers 300 undergraduate programmes.
The school boasts that over 90 per cent of its 2015 graduates were employed or continued their education within six months of graduation. This is partly because of the location in the heart of Chicago, where thousands of internship opportunities are available.
