You will:


	contribute to learning and teaching practices within the business analytics discipline;
	undertake high-impact research;
	supervise honours students and HDR candidates;?
	play a part in successful research grant applications; and?
	contribute to governance, coordination of and participation in the school capacity-building activities, and activities that contribute to the student experience.

You will possess:


	Completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant business field;
	Demonstrated expertise in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive data analysis within business and commerce;
	Proven high-quality teaching experience in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Data Analytics, or Business Statistics;
	A track record as an effective educator, with the ability to design, develop, and deliver higher education curricula;
	A consistent record of research publications in high-ranking journals in business and commerce, evidenced by publications in ABDC-ranked journals (A or higher); and
	Evidence of applying advanced statistical analysis methods in business and commerce research.


Desirable 


	Postgraduate qualifications in higher education.
	Industry certifications in data science, data analytics, statistics, cloud computing, machine learning or artificial intelligence.
	Research expertise in psychometrics, including Structural Equation Modelling, mediation and moderation analysis, multi-group analysis and latent variable modelling.
	Expertise in online and asynchronous curriculum development.
	Active membership and strong connections with relevant professional bodies, community groups, and/or industry networks.

The faculty Bursar of the MU Faculty of Medicine announces a?selection procedure for the position of Postdoc in?The Novel Mechanisms in Skeletogenesis?at the Department of Biology, MED MUNI

The project and responsibilities

The bone formation and skeletogenesis are complex processes many aspects of which are not understood. In order to produce treatments for developmental and aging bone disorders, we need to uncover molecular mechanisms that are involved. The selected applicant will lead a?project on mechanisms GRK2 kinase uses to produce and maintain healthy skeleton. This project will involve conditional mouse models, ex-vivo explants and cellular models; the approaches will comprise mainly morphological and histological analysis of the mouse skeletal tissues, establishment of primary cultures, and cell signaling experiments. Beyond the research tools and technology available in the lab and the hosting department, they will have access to the state-of-the-art instrumentation and services at the MUNI University campus core facilities. They will also participate in projects of other group members, including PhD and master students.

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in August 2025.

Remuneration

A taxable annual remuneration starting from MOP1,052,800 (approximately USD129,980) for the position of Associate Professor and MOP855,400 (approximately USD105,600) for the position of Assistant Professor will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% - 7% after various discretionary exemptions. The School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Surrey invites applications for a full-time, Postdoctoral Research Fellow position, focusing on mechanistic modelling of pharmaceutical processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic research team focused on advancing the understanding of pharmaceutical formulation and manufacturing processes.

This is a fixed term contract for up to 24 months.

The post holder will develop and implement mechanistic models to analyse and predict the behaviour of pharmaceutical processes. Your work will address key challenges within these processes, constructing robust models and simulations that deepen the understanding of the underlying physics involved. The ultimate goal is to create predictive, physics-based models that optimise and control pharmaceutical manufacturing processes effectively. Your main responsibility is to develop and enhance discrete element models (DEM), integrating physics-based mechanistic models to simulate complex fluid and particulate systems.

This role requires independent initiative, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation in pharmaceutical process modelling. The ideal candidate will possess a strong numerical background with proficient programming skills and a proven research record through publications and code development. Experience in developing discrete element models (DEM) or hybrid models, such as DEM-CFD or DEM-SPH, is essential. For this position, a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline is required, although candidates nearing completion may be considered. Exceptional candidates with extensive experience may also be considered. The project involves collaboration with UK and international universities and industry partners, so strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
