Hasan Kalyoncu University, popularly referred to as HKU, is a private university located in Gaziantep, Turkey.
The university was established in 2008, and is named after Hasan Kalyoncu, a Turkish businessman and philanthropist.
The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programmes across various disciplines including engineering, social sciences, natural sciences, humanities, business administration, and health sciences. The languages of instruction are Turkish and English.
HKU's campus houses facilities like laboratories, libraries, research centres, sports complexes, and student dormitories.
The university has an incubation centre in the Silicon Valley, US for research and development and innovation activities of the students.
The university also has the first and only golf course in the region.
HKU has also forged agreements with universities throughout the world. Some of these include the Toronto George Brown College, University of Ottawa, University of Malaysia Pahang, Nevada University, California State University East Bay, Purdue University, University of Science and Technology of China, and Myongji University, South Korea. Several student and faculty exchange programmes are also held through the Erasmus+ programme.
