Founded in 2009 and accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Hilla University College has expanded to consist of eight science colleges since its establishment. Located in Hillah, a city in central Iraq along the Hilla branch of the Euphrates River, it is the capital of the Babylon Province and is known for its agricultural activities.
The university offers diverse degree programs in fields including law, economics, theatrical arts, physical education, English, education, accounting, dentistry, nursing, medical device techniques, medical physics, and laboratory techniques. Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities facilitated by the Student Activities Division.
The university focuses on nurturing science, advancing educational science, and conducting research at local, regional, and international levels to meet global standards. Research findings are published in journals such as the Hilla University College Journal for Medical Science.
