International University of Grand-Bassam was founded in 2007 and is located in the coastal city of Grand-Bassam.
The university had just 870 students in 2023; despite this small number, its student body is incredibly diverse, with 46% of attendees being women, and a total of 23 nationalities being represented.
There are six career-based degree programmes offered through the university¡¯s two schools: the School of Business and Social Sciences (BSS) and the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
The university also has a University Preparatory Programme offering courses in English, maths and computer science which prepares students for university-level learning. Undergraduate courses on offer include: mathematics, computer information systems, business administration, data science, english and computer science, amongst others.
There are regular events such as the end of year gala dinner and sports tournaments. There are also over a dozen students clubs active on campus,
