Lahore Leads University (LLU) is a private educational institution located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Established in 2011, it is chartered by the Government of Punjab and recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Dr. Khairat M. Ibne Rasa served as the university's first Vice Chancellor.
Leads Educator Welfare Trust, a non-profit organisation promoting education in Pakistan, established Lahore Leads University in 2011. The university was granted degree-awarding status on 22nd January 2011 by the government.
LLU operates various campuses, including its main campus on Kamahan Road near DHA phase V and Bedian Road, Lahore. It also has an engineering campus near Thokar Niaz Baig in West Wood Colony, Lahore, as well as a separate campus for Accountancy and Commerce.
The university offers a range of academic departments, including Leads business school, computer sciences, English linguistics and literature, mathematical sciences, mass communication, economics, university college of engineering, sciences and technology (UCEST), Leads college of pharmacy, education, psychology, Urdu, commerce and accountancy, sociology, Islamic studies, physical and sports sciences, and Leads school of advanced legal and policy studies.
LLU is affiliated with the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan), Pakistan Engineering Council, Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, Pakistan Bar Council, and the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore (for Leads College of Pharmacy).
