The Management University of Africa (MUA) was established in 2011, sponsored by the Kenya Institute of Management. The aim was to address existing problems in the workplace by educating future business leaders.
MUA¡¯s main campus is in Kisaju, just under 60km from Nairobi. It is made up of three faculties: humanities and development studies; management and leadership; and professional education and international languages. As well as undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, the university also offers professional diplomas and certifications.
On-campus hostels are provided for students. Hostels have 24-hour security systems, including CCTV, electric fences and sniffer dogs.
Students are encouraged to take part in indoor and outdoor sports, including basketball, football, badminton, chess and darts. And students are able to compete against staff at regular university sports days.
