The School of Psychology at the University of Southampton is seeking to appoint a clinician for 2 days a week (one of which must be a Monday) to support education and research across our Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Dclin).?

You will be part of an innovative and dynamic clinical psychology and contribute to postgraduate and undergraduate teaching and supervision.?

The Clinical Psychology Doctoral Programme at the University of Southampton are committed to the scientist-practitioner model, are firmly rooted in the core values of the NHS Constitution and have over 30 years' experience in clinical training in partnership with our local NHS Trusts and related organisations. Two different employment pathways are available: education-led or balanced across research and education. ?Clinical psychologists with expertise in teaching clinical skills and the aspiration to develop their research can apply to work on an education pathway. This will provide an opportunity to build a research portfolio that complements current research activity in the school. Alternatively, applicants with a growing national/international research track record, evidenced by publications/grant applications, can apply to work on a balanced pathway.

Our School has expertise in developmental and applied psychopathology, psychological interventions across the lifespan and affective neuroscience. The School of Psychology at Southampton is recognised for producing world-leading, high-impact research, supported by excellent research facilities (REF2014).?

The role

Lifeguard roles are?primarily?responsible for?working poolside as a lifeguard, but will also deal with customer queries,?preparing equipment, ensuring health and safety procedures are being following,?and being an ambassador for active lifestyles?at the University of Southampton.

The Political Science Department at San Diego State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Mexican and/or Central American Politics at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin Fall 2025. Applicants should demonstrate a well-developed research agenda, a promise of sustained scholarship, and a record of effective teaching. 

Qualifications
The department seeks a scholar with expertise in the politics of Mexico or Central America broadly understood. We are open on theoretical and methodological approaches and welcome scholars trained in comparative politics or international relations. The successful candidate's geographic scope of research will focus on one or more countries in the region while substantive topics can include, but are not limited to, the politics of inequality, development, indigenous politics, environmental politics, state/society relations, immigration/migration, militarization, social movements, or human rights. The successful candidate will have sufficient expertise to teach and mentor on the politics of Mexico.As part of a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) located on the US-Mexico border, we value research and teaching that are grounded in the politics of neighboring countries that have deep historical, economic, and political ties to the US and to Southern California.
