The National Taipei University of Business was founded in 1917. It was founded as a high school of commerce, then developed into a junior college of business in 1968, and in 2014 gained its university status.
There are three main colleges at the university: business, management and innovative design and management, across which there are several departments including: applied foreign languages, information and decision sciences, and public finance and tax administration. Across these colleges, the university offers undergraduate and postgraduate level degrees.
The university has international partnerships with 35 universities in 16 countries allowing students to take part in exchange programmes, an International MBA programme and a summer programme.
The campus is located in the heart of Tapei City with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Control Yuan and Legislative Yuan all within 15 minutes walking distance. The university cooperates with the industry to help students with developing career skills and internships.
