You will:

	Completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant business field;

	Proven high-quality teaching experience in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Data Analytics, or Business Statistics;
	A track record as an effective educator, with the ability to design, develop, and deliver higher education curricula;
	A consistent record of research publications in high-ranking journals in business and commerce, evidenced by publications in ABDC-ranked journals (A or higher); and
	Evidence of applying advanced statistical analysis methods in business and commerce research.


Desirable 


	Postgraduate qualifications in higher education.
	Industry certifications in data science, data analytics, statistics, cloud computing, machine learning or artificial intelligence.

The Institute for Labour and Social Law is one of the leading teaching and research institutions in Austria dealing with central problems of Austrian and European labour law and law of social security. Your personal sphere of influence:

As a University Assistant Praedoc you will complete the research team of Univ.-Prof- Mag. Dr. Elisabeth Brameshuber in the field of labour law and social security law. Besides your own research activities, you will take on tasks such as independent and supportive teaching of courses and examinations, supervision of students and support regarding research, organisational and administrative tasks.

You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means:

The faculty Bursar of the MU Faculty of Medicine announces a?selection procedure for the position of Postdoc in?The Biology of Primary Cilia Signaling?at the Department of Biology, MED MUNI

Description of the lab

Primary cilia are organelles with important functions in cellular signaling, morphogenesis and homeostasis. Mutations in genes that regulate cilia architecture or function result in disorders called ciliopathies. The ciliopathies comprise developmental syndromes, and also postnatal homeostatic disorders including cancer.?In the research lab of Dr. Michaela Bosakova?we focus on understanding the molecular mechanisms by which cilia are formed and used by protein kinases and signaling pathways (published work). Our ultimate goal is to comprehend the pathogenesis of selected ciliopathies, and contribute to development of their therapies.

The project and responsibilities

The selected applicant will lead a?project that aims to target ciliary signaling in glioblastoma, which is one of the deadliest cancers with very limited treatment options. The approaches used in the project will comprise mainly establishment of primary cultures, CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, cell and tissue imaging, and cell signaling experiments. Beyond the research tools and technology available in the lab and the hosting department, they will have access to the state-of-the-art instrumentation and services at the MUNI University campus core facilities. They will also participate in projects of other group members, including PhD and master students.

Qualifications:


	PhD degree in the field of cell biology or similar
	Significant, published experience with primary cilia research and/or cell signaling
	Hands-on experience with CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing is a?great advantage
	Ability to work independently allied with a?strong team spirit, scientific creativity, and motivation
	Good communication in English

The Department of Portuguese of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities invites applications for the position of Senior Instructor of Portuguese. The Department of Portuguese is an established and lively scholarly community. The Department offers an undergraduate degree in Portuguese Studies concentrating on Portuguese with selected courses in Language, Linguistics, Literature, Culture, History and Translation. At the undergraduate level, the Department also teaches Portuguese language within the Faculty of Law and offers elective courses in Portuguese as a foreign language to students from all faculties of the University. Qualifications

Applicants should have extensive experience in teaching Portuguese to non-native speakers at university level. Previous experience in teaching initial and advanced levels Portuguese to native speakers of Chinese will be highly valued. Applicants must be native speakers of Portuguese or to show a near-native command of the language. Proficient command of English is mandatory.

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in August 2025.

Remuneration

A taxable annual remuneration starting from MOP611,940 (approximately USD75,550) will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% - 7% after various discretionary exemptions. About the Role?

You will be responsible for undertaking research related activities associated with the project titled “Cultivating Systemic Safety to Prevent Workplace Sexual Harassment” funded via an ARC Linkage Project Agreement. This project sits within the Centre for Workplace Excellence, in partnership with 12 organisations who play an important role in understanding the origins of sexual harassment in the workplace in Australia, and are working to mitigate this problem.

Workplace sexual harassment is a significant issue, costing our economy more than $3.5 billion each year. It disrupts business operations and slows progress in achieving gender equality at work. Traditional prevention methods include policies, training, and reporting, which focus on the behaviour itself without addressing its root causes. This misdirection of effort is a major reason why the problem persists. The project will learn more about the origins of sexual harassment in the organisational system – looking deeper into aspects like organisational culture, social dynamics, job and task characteristics, technology, and the physical work environment – and develop new evidence-based prevention strategies.?

You will proactively support and contribute to high quality research through advanced qualitative analysis, competitive research grant activities, as well as actively participate in research concentrations and other relevant collaborative forums, to deliver high quality research outcomes.
