LRI CZECRIN?-?Czech National Clinical Research Infrastructure is part of CoE CREATIC and the Czech national node of the European Network of Clinical Research Infrastructures ECRIN-ERIC.

Within?CREATIC?and?CZECRIN, we are involved in the development of innovative new products in a?number of areas, we are conducting national and international clinical research projects and working closely with clinical sites in our country and across the EU. Right now, we are looking for a?new member to join our RA team to ensure the smooth running of RA processes and help new products reach patients.

The scope of your work will be:


	Coordination of regulatory processes and projects
	Regulatory analysis of innovative projects and evaluation of information in terms of national and international requirements
	Preparation and implementation of RA project plans and strategies, collaboration on new product development plans
	Preparation of RA documentation for registration and notification processes (LP, ZP, etc.)
	Monitoring of EU and local legislation
	Collaboration with development teams on new projects
	Cooperation and coordination of activities with regulatory authorities including scientific advises


Required qualification:


	University degree?(pharmacy, medicine, natural sciences)
	Experience in healthcare regulation (min. 3 years of experience)
	Experience in ATMP an advantage
	Experience in project and team management an advantage
	Communication, presentation, negotiation and organizational skills
	Proficient PC user skills (MS Office) and ability to effectively use the internet, social networks and search tools to retrieve and process information
	Independence, focus, responsibility, reliability, flexibility, attention to detail
	Willingness to find new ways and solutions to challenges and a?desire to learn new things

Job description key points:

The position is focused on both teaching and research. The candidates are expected to carry out research of excellent quality in areas close to computer networks and/or?cybersecurity. They should be provably capable of successfully applying for research grant projects. The candidates should be able to prepare and deliver lectures and tutorials in courses from both computer networks and cybersecurity at the bachelor as well as master level within the study programs of the Faculty of Informatics of Masaryk University (FI MU):?https://www.fi.muni.cz/catalogue-current/?all=1&lang=en. They should be willing and capable of taking full responsibility of some of such courses. The candidates should also show a?large amount of flexibility in teaching subjects that are not directly related to their particular areas of research. The?candidates?should be ready to supervise undergraduate as well as graduate students too. Finally, the candidates should be willing and have the potential to advance to an associate professor level in a?not too far future.

The successful candidate must have:


	PhD in computer science;
	existing track record in?research;
	experience in teaching and in attracting grant projects;
	passion for problem-solving and desire to work with students;
	dynamic, flexible personality, ability to work well in teams;
	fluency in English (both spoken and written); other language(s) are welcome;
	experience from other countries than the Czech and Slovak Republics (at least one?year).


Desired skills and achievements:


	PhD thesis and/or subsequent research in computer networks or cybersecurity;?
	at least some publications with co-authors from outside of the Czech and Slovak Republics;

The Department of Neuroimaging is focused on the research and development of neuroimaging techniques from basic science to clinical application. We aspire to making brain imaging an essential clinical tool in both neurology and psychiatry as we devise innovative imaging methods to measure brain structure, function, physiology and metabolism.

About the role:

Applications are invited to join a team of researchers exploring cognitive dysfunction in clinical populations. A research technician position is available in Professor Steve Williams’ research group, based in the Department of Neuroimaging.

The post holder will assist in remote and in-person studies of cognition, with a primary focus on a study assessing the relationship between language patterns, functional capacity, and cognitive performance in individuals with depression, psychosis, and healthy controls. The study consists of three parts: Parts 1 and 3 involve remote assessments with participants conducted via Zoom and at-home assessments on a tablet, while Part 2 includes two in-person visits at the Clinical Research Facility at King’s College Hospital, where participants complete various clinical, cognitive, and functional assessments.

The post holder will be responsible for participant recruitment and data collection, including: 1) approaching and screening potential participants, 2) scheduling remote and in-person study visits, and 3) collecting, entering, and auditing study data. In addition, they will have the opportunity to contribute to an upcoming neuroimaging study aimed at establishing neuroimaging techniques to identify brain circuits underlying cognitive dysfunction across disorders.

The successful applicant will become familiar with administering and scoring standard clinical and neuropsychological assessments used in research settings and will have the opportunity to learn about neuroimaging data collection.

This is an ideal position for psychology or neuroscience graduates who wish to gain experience in human mental health research and are planning to apply for a PhD or Clinical Psychology Doctorate in the future.

This is a full-time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract for 12 months.

Your personal sphere of influence:

A 3-year PhD position is available at the Department of Evolutionary Anthropology, focusing on archeofaunal analyses. The successful candidate will join the BEAM Lab (Bioarchaeology of Extinct Animals and Metagenomics), led by Pere Gelabert, and contribute to the ERC-Starting Grant-funded project “Unveiling the Shadows: Illuminating Late Pleistocene Human-Carnivore Interaction (SHADOWS).” The position includes co-supervision by Ana B. Marín-Arroyo from the University of Cantabria, Spain.

Planned analysis for the PhD-candidate:


	Study of faunal assemblages from Pleistocene cave sites in Spain.
	Collaboration in proteomic analyses of Pleistocene collections.
	Identification of patterns of human and animal subsistence through archeofaunal and taphonomic analyses.


The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to investigate Pleistocene fauna diversity and patterns of competition between humans and carnivores. Key responsibilities include:


	Characterizing Pleistocene faunal assemblages using archeofaunal methods.
	Conducting ZooMS (Zooarchaeology by Mass Spectrometry) analyses.
	Performing taphonomic analyses on Late Pleistocene collections from the Cantabrian region.


This research will explore the final stages of large carnivore populations during a critical period in Earth's history. The role offers an excellent opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research at the interface of bioarchaeology, paleoecology, and evolutionary anthropology.

The PhD-candidate has the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of archaeology, palaeontology, genomics and evolutionary biology.

Candidate requirements:

Requirements for this position are a Master’s Degree in Archeology Anthropology, or similar and an interest in interdisciplinary work at the intersection of evolutionary biology, and archaeology. Experience in archeofaunal analyses is a requirement. The candidate must have a good level of both English and Spanish. Experience in proteomics is not required but is appreciated.?

The position will be based in Vienna but with substantial time spent in Santander.
