Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences is based in Athens and is Greece¡¯s only specialised school of social science. It was founded in 1930 by Georgios Fragoudis and Alexandros Pantos, who had both studied at Sciences Po in Paris.
The university is focused around three main buildings ¨C the main, new, and glass mirror ¨C on Syngrou Avenue in the central Kallithea district. There are a range of other facilities around the Greek capital, but has no student accommodation.
It is divided into schools of economic and public administration, political science, social science and international studies communication and culture. Students are required to speak either English, German or French as well as Greek in order to graduate, and it aims to have at least 20 per cent of the curriculum taught in languages other than Greek.
The university welcomes overseas students under the Erasmus+ programme as well as sending it's own students to study abroad.
