Phetchaburi Rajabhat University began as a teacher training school for agriculture in the Ratchaburi Province in 1926, before being upgraded to the Moon Teacher Training School in 1933. After several transformations, it gained its university status and its current name in 2004.
The university now offers over 30 bachelor¡¯s degrees across its eight faculties, as well as six master¡¯s degree programmes and a graduate certificate in teaching.
Faculties at the university include information technology; education; agricultural technology; humanities and social sciences; management science; engineering and industrial technology; science and technology and nursing and health sciences.
The university offers a range of training outside of a student's main studies. IT training is provided in the form of computer workshops in programmes such as Office 365, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and more. There is a language centre that organises English language training and language testing.
The university is located in the Phetchaburi District in Western Thailand.
