RAK Medical and Health Sciences University is located in the most northerly of the United Arab Emirates, 100 kilometres from Dubai and 80 km distant from Sharjah,?
Set up as a medical school in 2006, it rapidly expanded to take in the other disciplines such as pharmacy, nursing and dentistry. It offers degrees in all four subjects and was also the first UAE university to offer two-year options in nursing and pharmacy.?
