Shizuoka Eiwa Gakuin University is a private university in the city of Shizuoka, Japan. The campus stretches out across a hillside that overlooks Mount Fuji.

Established as a university in 2002, the university can trace its history back 120 years to the founding of the Shizuoka Eiwa Girls' School in 1887 by Methodist missionaries from Canada, the first school to offer secondary education to girls in Shizuoka Prefecture. It continues to be affiliated with the Methodist Church and the school philosophy is "Love and Service".

Just under 1,500 are enrolled in two-and-four-year programmes. The four-year programmes are available in the departments of humanities and social sciences, and community and social welfare.

The department of humanities and social sciences offers five majors in psychology, English language culture, Japanese language culture, tourism local design and economics and management.

The department of community and social welfare has established a social welfare worker model course and child care worker, kindergarten teacher model course taught in small classes of six or seven students.

The junior college two year-programmes are available in the departments of contemporary communications and food science.

The department of contemporary communication offers six units in business management, tourism airline, medical clerk, life design, fashion and beauty, and hotel/bridal.

The department of food sciences has established a nutritionists food specialists course and a nutritionists food scientists course.

International students who require financial assistance and are recognised as having excellent character and academic performance may be exempt from one third of tuition fees.
