Established in 2008, Universidad Nacional de R¨ªo Negro (National University of R¨ªo Negro) is located in the small city of Viedma, Rio Negro. In addition, there are branch campuses in: Allen, Bariloche, Choele Choel, El Bols¨®n, General Roca and Villa Regina.
Universidad Nacional de R¨ªo Negro has five faculties, including: applied science, health sciences, economic sciences, human sciences and social sciences. Within these faculties, students can gain both bachelor and masters degrees in a wide variety of specialties.
To enhance their studies in the classroom, students are encouraged to take up internships in a relevant industry.
Across the campuses, there are a wide range of facilities on offer, including: first class facilities and technology and a library. In addition, there are sports facilities available for both students and teachers. Sports teams participate in national competitions, both in the National University Championships organised by the CTDUA and in the Argentine University Games organized by the FEDUA.
For those with a passion for music, dance, theatre and cinema, there are also a range of clubs for students to get involved with.
While Universidad Nacional de R¨ªo Negro does not have university residences, they offer advice on finding accommodation for students.
There are a range of scholarships on offer providing low-income students the opportunity to study at the university.
The university also has partnerships with other universities worldwide offering students the chance to spend a year studying abroad.
