Universidad Tecnol¨®gica Centroamericana is a private coeducational institution in Honduras.
The university was founded in 1987 by a group of Honduran businessmen and professors of Universidad Nacional Aut¨®noma de Honduras (UNAH).
The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across various disciplines such as engineering, business, health sciences, social sciences, and information technology.
The university has campuses in the three main cities of Honduras: Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula and La Ceiba. All three campuses have classrooms, laboratories, a central library, student residences, sports facilities, and dedicated spaces for research and innovation. In addition to this, events and activities are organised throughout the year.?
The university has established partnerships with numerous international institutions, enabling student and faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives, and participation in global conferences and seminars. Some of these include: Louisiana State University, United States, Universidad Polit¨¦cnica de Madrid, (Madrid Politechnical University) Spain, Universidad Central (Central University), Chile, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, Normandy Business School, France, Universidad de Caxias do Sul (Caxias do Sul University), Brazil, and many others. The university is an affiliated member of the Laureate International Universities.
