Universidade do Namibe was created in 2020. It was previously part of the Mandume ya Ndemufayo University.?
Many of the schools at the university reflect it's coastal location of Mocamedes. The school of fisheries science provides courses in fish processing technology engineering, Nnavigation, and naval mechanical engineering. All of these courses are?taught in both Portuguese and English. Aquaculture is taught only in Portuguese.
The school of natural science offers a degree in marine biology, which is offered in both Portuguese and English, and marine resources and oceanography.
The school of social sciences and humanities offers six education degrees 每 primary education and courses focussed on teaching chemistry, physics, maths, biology and geography. It also offers courses in administration and management, and accounting and management. The school of engineering and technology offers six different engineering degrees.
Students need to take an entrance exam.?
