Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka is a private university located in South Jakarta, Indonesia. The university was established on 18 November, 1957 by the Muhammadiyah organization, a major Islamic social and educational movement in Indonesia. It is named after Prof. Dr. Hamka, a prominent Indonesian scholar, writer, and Islamic leader.
