The University Center of Aflou, established in Algeria in September 2016, offers an array of academic programmes at different levels, including bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.
The university's academic structure is organised into five institutes, each specialising in specific areas of study. The Institute of Sciences focuses on scientific disciplines, while the Institute of Law and Political Sciences delves into legal and political matters. The Institute of Literature and Languages emphasises language studies and literary analysis, while the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences explores broader social and humanistic subjects. Lastly, the Institute of Economic Sciences, Management and Commercial Sciences offers programmes in economics, management and commerce.
These programmes span several disciplines, including arts and humanities, business and management, engineering and technology, and social sciences and management. Students have access to diverse learning opportunities and can tailor their education to match their academic interests and career aspirations.
The university has also established three research laboratories, which have received official approval from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. These laboratories focus on different fields of study and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in their respective domains. They are the Laboratory of Legal and Economic Studies, the Laboratory of Research and Studies in Human and Society, and the Laboratory of Linguistic and Literary Studies.
The university centre is committed to providing an affordable education to domestic students, as shown by their offer of free tuition.
