Education at Vitebsk State Technological University, in the Belarussian city best known as the birthplace of artist Marc Chagall, is divided into six faculties.
These are: the faculty of design; the faculty of economics and business management; the faculty of information technology and robotics; the correspondence faculty; the faculty of manufacturing technology; and the faculty of qualifications improvement and staff retraining.
Students compete nationally and internationally in academic and sports competitions. Others participate in folk-dance and beauty contests.
