Zetech University was started in 1999 as Zetech College, offering certificate and diploma qualifications in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
From 2007 it offered the degree courses of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. It took its current name in 2014.
There are four campuses: Thika Road, Nairobi City, the Technical Park Mang¡¯u Campus and Zetech University Digital Campus, with most hostel accommodation close to Thika Road.
Students are spread across schools of education, arts and social science, business and economics, information and computer technology, media and engineering and the training and vocational education and training (TVET) centre.
