The archaeology unit of assessment table is led by the University of Reading,?which is not a member of the?Russell Group, with a GPA of 3.66.

It is trailed by Durham University in second place with a GPA of 3.59.

The University of Southampton (3.57), the University of Cambridge (3.56) and the University of Leicester (3.54) make up the rest of the top five.
