The Times Higher Education China Subject Ratings 2020 measures university performance based on the Chinese Ministry of Education¡¯s classification of subjects.
The ratings for medical reveal performance across seven subjects: basic medicine/medical science; clinical medicine; medical technology; nursing; pharmacy; public health and preventive medicine; and stomatology.
In total, 758 universities worldwide receive a rating for at least one subject in the medical pillar.
Sixteen universities achieve an A+ grade in all seven of the medical subjects, while Fudan University is the top-performing institution in mainland China.
