Times Higher Education has confirmed the schedule for its portfolio of university rankings for the 2017 calendar year.
After the successful launch of the 2017 list of the World¡¯s Most International Universities on 1 February, the next release in the THE¡¯s prestigious portfolio is the 2017 THE Asia University Ranking, which will be released at the on 16?March.
Shortly after the Asia rankings comes THE¡¯s first bespoke national ranking for the Asia region ¨C the Japan University Ranking, developed in partnership with Benesse. This will be launched at an event in Tokyo on 30?March. The THE Japan University Ranking builds on the success of The Wall Street Journal/THE College Rankings for America, which place more focus on teaching and learning and student outcomes than on research and prestige.
April will see the release of the ¡°Young University Rankings¡± for 2017. This will be a new, deeper and more comprehensive analysis, comprising the 2017 THE 200 Under 50 ¨C a ranking of the top universities under the age of 50 ?¨C as well as new rankings focusing on different generations of institutions, including what THE is calling the ¡°Golden Age¡± universities, founded between the years of 1945 and 1966. The set will be released at the in Brisbane on 6?April.

The THE World Reputation Rankings will be released on 14 June, while a ranking of Europe¡¯s top research-led institutions will be released on 22?June.
THE is also delighted to confirm the launch of a new ranking for the Asia-Pacific Region, which will be released during THE¡¯s first ever Research Excellence Summit, to be held in Taiwan from 3?to 5?July 2017.

The Latin America Rankings will also be published in July.
The flagship Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2017-18 will be launched on 5?September 2017 at the THE World Academic Summit in London. The list of the world¡¯s top 1,000 universities is one of the major events in the global academic calendar, and it will be released live at the summit ¨C a gathering of the leaders of top universities, Nobel laureates, policymakers and business chiefs from across the world.
THE¡¯s new expanded list of the world¡¯s best universities by 11 subjects will be released in batches in the weeks following the launch of the World University Rankings.
The second edition of The Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings, the pioneering teaching-focused and student outcomes-led ranking of US institutions, is also earmarked for a September release.

The THE Emerging Economies Ranking for 2018 will be the final release of the year, scheduled for a launch during the in Rabat, Morocco, from 5?to 7?December.
