Impact Rankings 2020: responsible consumption and production
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings are the only global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations¡¯ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We use carefully calibrated indicators to provide comprehensive and balanced comparisons across three broad areas: research, outreach and stewardship.
This table on SDG 12 ¨C responsible consumption and production measures universities¡¯ research on responsible consumption and their approach to the sustainable use of resources.
The list includes 360 universities from 70 countries.

The list is led by Australia¡¯s UNSW Sydney, while Finland¡¯s Aalto University and the UK¡¯s University of Manchester complete the top three.
Japan is the most-represented nation in the table with 40 institutions, followed by the UK with 25 and Taiwan with 20.
